The Leadership Training Classes for the Evangelical Presbyterian Church will
continue. A light breakfast will be provided at 8:30 AM, followed by the class at 9 AM sharp.


Please note the following items:


The youth (and the young at heart) will have a skating party at Trenton Skateway on Sunday, November 23rd at 2 PM.  Please sign up in the Narthex.


The Community Thanksgiving Service at Edgewood High School will take place on Sunday, November 23rd at 6 PM.  There will be light refreshments served after the service.


The church office will be closed on Thursday, November 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday.


There will be a Work Party on Saturday, November 29th at 9 AM, to pull all of the decorations down from the attic, set up the tree, and get the manger ready in preparation for the Advent season. 


The annual Hanging of the Greens service, our traditional start of the Advent season, is on Sunday, November 30th at 7 PM.  We our preparing our church and our hearts for the celebration for the birth of Jesus Christ.  Please plan to attend as the Mt. Olivet children will play a special part, as we decorate our church, watch traditions enfold, and sing together.

Join us this Sunday for Sunday School at 9:15 for Adults and Children, and for Worship at 10:30 AM!


Sunday School classes are available for ALL ages.


The EPC Leadership Study course is presently replacing the Adult Sunday School class.  The regular Adult Sunday School class will return upon the completion of the EPC Leadership Study course.


The Children's Classes are led by Mike Lynskey, Bonnie Nicely, Wanda Stamper, and Barb Hufford.


Children's Church is offered to all children first grade through high school, downstairs during the Worship Service, every week other than the first Sunday of the month. Linda Rovito is the Worship leader of this ministry.


A Preschool Nursery is also available during the Worship Service.

At Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, we come together in worship to praise and glorify God, through Jesus Christ and to experience the love of Christ through Christian fellowship.  As a part of the body of Christ we look to the Holy Spirit to sustain us and to help support, encourage, and enable one another in all areas of the Christian life.  We invite you to join us in study, worship, growth, faith, and service.



Members of the Mt. Olivet congregation will be praying in the sanctuary every Wednesday night.  We as a congregation need to be in community prayer, to lift up our church, the governing bodies of the church, and, most importantly,  our Father and Savior.  These times that congregation members have met have been filled with prayer, hope, and faith.


Please consider joining us on Wednesday nights at 8 PM in the sanctuary.  (We will meet in the library during November and December, to accomodate the longer choir practices.)  If you cannot join us at this time, please take time at home to pray and meditate, as the Almighty has called us to do.


How great is our God!  Indeed!



The Elders of Mt. Olivet have a system in place to notify the congregation should it be necessary to cancel Sunday services due to dangerous weather conditions or other important reasons.
