This Sunday is the last of our "Noisy Sundays".  Our children will be "shaking their cans" and collecting our loose change to help fund our Vacation Bible School, scheduled for August 2nd through 6th.

 

VBS is next week!  The theme is "SonSpark Labs".  Please see Jen Applegate if you are able to volunteer for any duties:  teachers, helpers, kitchen staff, games, crafts, music, etc. 

 

Don't forget that signups are available to bring in supplies and snacks.  Please consider offering a few items needed for the VBS Week.

Join us this Sunday for Sunday School at 9:00 for Adults and 9:15 for Children, and for Worship at 10:30 AM!

 

Sunday School classes are available for ALL ages.

 

Rev. Jerry Pitman is leading the Adult Sunday School class.  A study of "Jesus, Among Other Gods", by Ravi Zacharias, started on Sunday, May 10th.

 

 

The Children's Classes are led by Mike Lynskey, Bonnie Nicely, Wanda Stamper, and Barb Hufford.


 

A Preschool Nursery is available during the Worship Service.

At Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, we come together in worship to praise and glorify God, through Jesus Christ and to experience the love of Christ through Christian fellowship.  As a part of the body of Christ we look to the Holy Spirit to sustain us and to help support, encourage, and enable one another in all areas of the Christian life.  We invite you to join us in study, worship, growth, faith, and service.

CHURCH COMMUNITY PRAYER

 

Members of the Mt. Olivet congregation will be praying every Wednesday night.  We as a congregation need to be in community prayer, to lift up our church, the governing bodies of the church, and, most importantly,  our Father and Savior.  These times that congregation members have met have been filled with prayer, hope, and faith.

 

Please consider joining us on Wednesday nights at 8 PM .  If you cannot join us at this time, please take time at home to pray and meditate, as the Almighty has called us to do.

 

How great is our God!  Indeed!

IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER OR EMERGENCIES . . .

 

The Elders of Mt. Olivet have a system in place to notify the congregation should it be necessary to cancel Sunday services due to dangerous weather conditions or other important reasons.
