Mt. Olivet United Presbyterian Church has a process in place should anyone need a pastor in the event of a personal crisis. The Clerk of Session (Joyce Harris) should be contacted and will see to it that you have a local pastor throughout your crisis.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
(ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION)
At Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, we come together in worship to praise and glorify God, through Jesus Christ and to experience the love of Christ through Christian fellowship. As a part of the body of Christ we look to the Holy Spirit to sustain us and to help support, encourage, and enable one another in all areas of the Christian life. We invite you to join us in study, worship, growth, faith, and service.
These are the items that are most needed right now for the Edgewood Ministerial Assocation Food Pantry: boxed meals, canned meats, soup, baby food, and cereals. Anything at all that helps the needy and hungry is most appreciated. Thank you!
CHURCH COMMUNITY PRAYER
Members of the Mt. Olivet congregation will be praying in the sanctuary every Wednesday night, regardless whether or not the Pastor Nominating Committee will be meeting. We as a congregation need to be in community prayer, to lift up our church, our PNC, the governing bodies of the church, and, most importantly, our Father and Savior. These times that congregation members have met have been filled with prayer, hope, and faith.
Please consider joining us on Wednesday nights at 8 PM in the sanctuary. If you cannot join us at this time, please take time at home to pray and mediate, as the Almighty has called us to do.
