Saturday December 13

 

Men's Group will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. at Bob Evans located at 3524 Indian Meadows Dr. near the Rt. 4 and Rt. 4 bypass about 10 minutes from church.  All men and teenage boys are welcome.

 

Sunday December 14

 

We'd love to have you join us at our Sunday morning worship service at 10:30 a.m.  We'll be celebrating the Third Sunday of Advent as we light the Advent wreath candle of "joy."  We'll worship with carols, some newer praise songs, have prayer, and look at Zechariah's song from Luke 1:67-80 and how it points to our Savior, Jesus.   

 

We are going Christmas caroling, so come on out and join in with encouraging some from our church and neighborhood with songs for the season.  We'll meet at church at 5:30 p.m., go caroling, and then come back for pizza, hot chocolate, and cookies.

 

Saturday  December 20

 

Like Christmas music?  We're excited to have an evening of Christmas music at our church called "Christmas @ The Mount" at 6:30 p.m. We'll have special music by our own Jon Sanford on piano, some others from our church and community, and a Christmas carol sing-along at the end. There will be refreshments and a good time for all.  It's for our church and community so invite your family, friends, and neighbors as we celebrate the season and God's gift of Jesus to us.

 

Christmas Eve

 

Come join us for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 7 p.m.  We'll have carols, special music, Scripture, and a Christmas Eve message about God's gift to us in the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  We'll conclude with a candlelight as we sing "Silent Night."

Sunday January 4      

COMMUNION AND FELLOWSHIP MEAL

On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate communion during our worship service at 10:30 a.m.  After the service, we gather together for our monthly Fellowship Meal at 11:30 a.m.

Come join us for our monthly Birthday Meal in the Fellowship Hall.  Enjoy a home-cooked meal as we eat and celebrate our birthdays of the month!  Everyone is invited.

A group of men gather for breakfast, fellowship, and a devotional at Bob Evans restaurant at 3524 Indian Meadows Dr. off of Rt. 4.  We meet every other Saturday at 8 a.m.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

The adult group is studying the New Testament books of 1, 2, & 3 John and Jude.  Come join us as we learn and grow together!

Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 10 a.m.   ZOOM 

 SMALL GROUPS

We have two small groups. The first is a small group Bible study on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at the church.  We are looking at The Lord's Prayer and how we might let this wonderful prayer that Jesus taught inform the way we pray to God.  We'd love to have you.  We'll meet up until Tuesday December 9 and then take the rest of December off and come back Tuesday January 6.  

 

The second group meets on Thursdays at 10 a.m. as an online Zoom group.   It follows the sermon series by looking at the previous Sunday's message.   We share about our lives a bit, pray for one another, and then jump into the Scriptures.  Just contact the church for the Zoom link to be emailed to you.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

The Edgewood Ministerial Association (EMA) is a cooperative ministry group of local churches that sponsors local community events to spiritually nourish the community of Trenton. The EMA also helps run local ministries to serve those in need.   It sponsors community events such as Gospel Sings, the National Day of Prayer, and holiday celebrations for local churches and the Edgewood Community Schools district.
