Thursday February 19

 

An online Zoom small group meets on Thursdays at 10 a.m. to go a bit deeper with the previous week's sermon, as we look for ways to live out God's truth in our daily lives. Contact the church for a Zoom link to be emailed to you.

 

Sunday February 22

 

Our Sunday morning worship service is at 10:30 a.m. and we gather to sing traditional hymns and newer expressions of contemporary praise music.  We're in a sermon series called "The Coming King:  Jesus in the Old Testament Propehcies" as we see that Jesus is the center of all Scripture.  This week we're looking at how Christ came to radically transform our lives from Isaiah 61:1-3.  

 

Tuesday February 24

 

A book club gathers the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month from 2 - 3 p.m.  We're reading "Mostly What God Does" by Savannah Guthrie.  Books are available at the group or you may order your own.  We'd enjoy having you be a part of our group.    

 

 

On Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. a small group Bible study meets at church.  We're in a study during this season of Lent called "Resurrection: Living as People of the Risen Lord."  You may join at any time and enjoy growing with a community of others.  

 

Wednesday February 25

 

Do you struggle with depression or anxiety?  "Hope-Filled Lives" is a Christian support group that meets the 2nd and 4th Wednsdays from 6:30 - 8 p.m. We are here to accompany you during a difficult place in your life through reading, sharing our lives, and prayer.  You may join at any time.

COMMUNION AND FELLOWSHIP MEAL

On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate communion during our worship service at 10:30 a.m.  After the service, we gather together for our monthly Fellowship Meal at 11:30 a.m.

Come join us for our monthly Birthday Meal in the Fellowship Hall.  Enjoy a home-cooked meal as we eat and celebrate our birthdays of the month!  Everyone is invited.

Saturday February 28     8 a.m. 

 

MEN'S BREAKFAST

 A group of men gather for breakfast, fellowship, and a devotional at Bob Evans restaurant at 3524 Indian Meadows Dr. off of Rt. 4 about 10 minutes from the church.  We meet the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 8 a.m.   Sometimes we come back to the church and do a work project from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  All men and teenage boys are welcome to come for breakfast or stay for both.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

The adult group is studying the New Testament book of Revelation.  Come join us as we learn and grow together!

The second group meets on Thursdays at 10 a.m. as an online Zoom group.   It follows the sermon series by looking at the previous Sunday's message.   We share about our lives a bit, pray for one another, and then jump into the Scriptures to look how we might live out God's living truth in our daily lives.  Just contact the church for the Zoom link to be emailed to you.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

The Edgewood Ministerial Association (EMA) is a cooperative ministry group of local churches that sponsors local community events to spiritually nourish the community of Trenton. The EMA also helps run local ministries to serve those in need.   It sponsors community events such as Gospel Sings, the National Day of Prayer, and holiday celebrations for local churches and the Edgewood Community Schools district.
